Mappy Awards 2015: June ~ July ~ August ~ September

Mad Mapper’s Muse: When I chose Evelyn Lim’s beautiful hand-drawn ‘Cinderella Story’ (my title) for the September 2015 ‘HANDMADE’ Mappy Award, I wrote:
Evelyn’s Cinderella Story mind map is a truly delightful celebration of this timeless tale with a healthy dose of humour thrown in for good measure…
…The whole thing is marvellously illustrated and coloured, and I’m only disappointed I can’t find any more maps by Evelyn to enjoy.
I’m doubly delighted to have this mind map voted as the September Overall Winner by our Mind Map Mad Facebook Group movers and shakers.
Why? Because not only is it a splendid piece of work in its own right, it’s also – drum role please – our very first handmade, non-software-assisted, all my own work mind map Overall Winner of the month!
As you may know, I’m a huge fan of creative, colourful, crazy mind maps either done by hand or using the only mind mapping software with a soul, iMindMap, and not necessarily in that order!
So I’m actually thrilled to get away from the techy-based production cycle for just a minute and highlight this deliciously human and humorous Handmade gem. Now all I need to do is get a comment from Evelyn herself. Watch this space 🙂
